The office space at the engineering firm of Huber & Dieterle in Böblingen features acoustically reflective surfaces, including concrete and vinyl. To maintain openness and transparency while still creating a comfortable work environment, Strähle’s System 7400 glass acoustic system was used for the redesign. The transparent System 7400 combines floor-to-ceiling glass elements with wall and ceiling sound absorbers. With the right combination and arrangement of glass acoustic walls, it is possible to create a custom acoustic interior design concepts for any open-space environment. The walls work to form separate acoustic zones while maintaining the overall spacious feeling of open-plan offices.
