After a construction period lasting around two years, the new Hilti Innovation Centre is now open and caters to employees’ every need, offering meeting rooms, open-space areas and retreat zones. Communication, integration, transparency and flexibility were key factors when designing the building. The concept aims to promote agile and modern working methods in keeping with the demands of digital workstations.
The double-glazed System 2000 partition wall system, complemented by black profiles, has been installed throughout the building. The 100-mm aluminium frame doors have been fitted flush on both sides, creating an enhanced noise barrier. Room booking systems have been incorporated into the door side sections, allowing the rooms to be controlled digitally. Two balustrade walls 10 and 12 metres in length enclose the stairwell and strike a balance between transparency and privacy from the corridor areas to the rooms. All in all, the result is an airy and inspiring centre featuring an ultra-modern infrastructure.
